Poetry || The One Who Left

The One Who Left

You watch him leave
And it hurts
Though you knew he would
Before

It will rain
The day he goes away
Down the window pane
Showers down to the earth
Down your face
And onto your pillow

He’d come back for you
You said to yourself
But the sound of breaking
As he went away
Wasn’t from the door shutting
But your heart
As it fell in pieces
When he did not say goodbye

For everyone who ever loved and hoped the loved one would stay.
Why do I write about heartbreak and occasionally sadness you might wonder? It’s just easy for me to. Some of us are not quite lucky with love and it’s components. You should be glad if you happen to be.

And thank you dear readers for 5000+ views. Out here thinking people actually do read my musings and posts. It feels awesome! I really appreciate each one of you that check this blog out. However I’d appreciate it more if you could comment below what you like most about the blog and what you don’t.

And do tell a friend to tell a friend to tell a friend to check the blog out 😀

Thanks for stopping by. ❤

      1. Lol. Its not that bad if it is………what of if you write something about love or happiness and it doesn’t just “tap” sometimes or most times our write ups are extensions of our feelings
