Photo Shoot: My Love For Books

In my previous post here, I posted that I modeled for a shoot some days ago, last year actually. The concept of the shoot was literature, basically my life as a writer. Photos were taken by @ope.okunbor and my makeup was done by @beautifulseal . You should check them out on Instagram.

Growing up as a child, I didn’t have much friends but was surrounded by books from my father’s library. Fascinated by their size, I dived into reading and had books as a companion. I would rather read a book than make friends or even chill with the family. 2013 marked the year I started socializing. I see myself as an ambivert now.

I had little confidence in myself but so much loved my beloved books and they loved me too. A book is like a passport. Leading me to different worlds. Flies me from the present to the past and back to the future. Books are beautiful. Books are a sort of weapon, they fight illiteracy and ignorance. And I love being a writer. I love being able to put experiences and my thoughts into writing. I really love writing and I love everyone of you that take time to read what I write.
